Academic Year
The academic year commences in the second week of June. The first term continues upto Dasara. Students and teachers are given mid term break from Dasara to Diwali enabling them to celebrate the festivals with their familes. The second term commences immediately after Diwali and extends upto mid April when the school closes for the summer vacation.
Calender of Events
It gives a glimpse of the activities planned for the year and is prepared well in advance. A copy of it is issued to all parents. Most events presented in the calender are strictly followed unless forced by circumstances to modify.
Investiture Ceremony
The appointment of new student office bearers such as School Captain, House Captain and prefects is done on 15th July. Parents are invited to attend. No separate invitation will be sent from the school.
Siddhartha Adarsh Gazette
All activities of the school are communicated to the patrons, parents and well wishers through the Siddhartha Adarsh Gazette, a yearly publication of the school.
Campus Visit of Prospective parents
Prospective parents who wish to visit the school may do so and have a glimpse of the life in the campus on any of the working days with prior permission from the Principal. Accommodation, food and arrangements for a single day’s stay on the campus can be made for such parents on registration of their application.
Parents Meeting
Parents Teachers and Management Meeting is an annual feature conducted on the last working day of the first term. It is notified in the Calendar of Events.
Since most of the parents are from out station, they are welcome to meet the Principal and teachers on any working day of the school to enquire about the academic progress and general well being of their ward on mutual convenience.
School Functions and Celebrations
All major functions of the school are notified in the year calender.
Parents are invited to attend the following functions. They need not wait for formal invitation.
- Freshers’ Day on the last Saturday of June
- School Raising Day and Investiture Ceremony on 15th July.
- Sports Day in the Last week of December
- Srujana (exhibition of art, craft and embroidery) on 10th January
- Annual Day on 12th January
