*‘National Education Day’ : was celebrated in the school campus on 11th November, 2024 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sri Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of India. CBSE schools of Vijayawada were invited to take part in various literary competitions organized to mark the occasion. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. G. Srilatha, Associate Professor, P.B.Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, Vijayawada. In her address, she shared that success is not a short cut method. One must be hardworking and creative in his efforts. She also believed in team work. Seven CBSE from Vijayawada took part in the competitions like Story Telling, Debate and Oration conducted in the English, Hindi and Telugu. Nearly 100 students participated in the programme. Prizes and Merit Certificates were given away to the students of the winning schools in the Valedictory Ceremony.

| *FOOD DISTRIBUTION Taking it as a social responsibility, KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Pubic School took a humble initiative of distributing 600 packets of pulihora, biscuit pacs and water bottles in the flood effected areas of Pedapulipaka and Yenamalakuduru on 4th September, 2024. The convenor of the school Smt. Veerapaneni Sasikala, Principal Sri. Manoj Karmakar and all the staff members came forward voluntarily and joined hands for the same. The senior teachers and the prefects of the school took the responsibility of distributing the packets to the needy. The purpose was well-served as the effected people were literally waiting for some food and water. All the students and parents welcomed and appreciated the step taken by the school. |

| *SCIENCE EXHIBITION In today’s era, education is not confined to reading and writing. It is now linked to the holistic development of children. This is the reason that our school leaves no stone unturned to help students to experiment with their knowledge and provides them different opportunities to showcase their skills. The school has organized a science exhibition on August 17th,2024, where the students of all the classes involved. The students prepared around 80 projects with a short notice for their preparation. The school invited Dr.G.Bindu Madhavi. M.S (Ophthal) Trinetra Eye Hospital, Vijayawada as the chief guest. She was highly delighted and overwhelmed by the active participation and innovative ideas of the students. She appreciated the team efforts of our students and teachers in successfully organizing such a mega event. The inspirational words of the Chief Guest, Convenor and Principal motivated the students to proceed further. The parents were also provided an opportunity to visit the exhibits. The exhibition made our students more confident, creative and develop scientific approach. |

| *SWIMMING POOL – RENNOVATION Our school swimming pool was renovated at a cost of 74 lakhs to extend improved facilities to the students. It was inaugurated on 09-08-2024 by the President of Siddhartha Academy, Sri.Chadalavada Nageswara Rao. In his inaugural address, he brought out the importance of physical fitness. Thirty minutes of regular swimming would burn a good amount of calories and keeps one healthy and fit. Some of our students presented a variety of swimming feats. | *INVESTITURE CEREMONY & FRESHERS’ DAY Investiture Ceremony and Freshers’ Day was celebrated in the school campus on 31st July, 2024. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs. Gautami Sali, DCP, Vijayawada, East. Addressing the audience, she shared that one must be confident in life and also be ready to accept failures. She further shared that IPS is a powerful profession for women. Sri. Paladugu Lakshman Rao, Secretary, SAGTE, addressed that all the prefects should come up to the expectations of the school and be role models. School Convenor Smt. Veerapaneni Sasikala and Principal Mr. Manoj Karmakar congratulated all the applett holders. Special Invitee Mr. Kakani Tarun wished all the appointees good luck in discharging their responsibilities. | *FIRE SAFETY : MOCK DRILL Fire safety awareness is an educational process to remind everyone in the workplace of best practices to avoid creating a fire risk and the measures to take in the event a fire happens in the workplace. In this contest, our school has conducted “Mock Drill on Fire Safety” by “X-Fire & Safety” on 27th July, 2024 to create awareness among the teachers and students. They demonstrated how to break the “Tamper Seal” of the fire extinguisher and the steps to be followed to put off the fire. |

| *74th Constitution Day Celebrations KCP SIDDHARTHA ADARSH RESIDENTIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated the Constitution Day on November 25, 2023 at the school premises in a magnificent way to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. As an important part of the celebration, a special Assembly was held where Preamble reading, Quiz, speech by the Social science department teachers and a special song appraising our Constitution was sung. The highlight of the day was the conduct of Inter School Mock Parliament Competition in which more than 80 students participated from various schools like Atkinson Sr.Sec School, VPS, Krishnaveni Talent School,St.Johns, Nalanda and so on.Burning issues like Women’s Reservation Bill, India’s G-20 Presidency, AP skill Development Scam, Manipur Violence were debated by the students.Portrait competition was held wher the students exhibited their artistic skills. | *WWF – WILD WISDOM GLOBAL CHALLENGE : 2023 Wild Wisdom Global Challenge was launched in 2008 in India with just over a thousand participants. The Wild Wisdom quiz has grown into the biggest wildlife challenge ever, engaging over 7,00,000 students from over 90 countries around the world. Wild Wisdom is now a global challenge inspiring students to learn about the environment and taking action towards its protection. WWF – India has recently launched the 16th edition of the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge, the theme is ‘Birds of the World’. This challenge is being conducted in five rounds. Our students worked really hard and all the 30 students contributed equally to earn the highest points and stood 1st position at State level, 4th position at National level and stood 5th position globally. We are also happy to share that two of our students K. Ananya Sritha & K. Gunaveer got selected to the State Level. |

| *Pariksha Pe Charcha The CBSE organized a programme called “Pariksha Pe Charcha” in December 2022 to bring awareness among the students regarding the preparedness for the board examinations. They took the opinions of the senior students. They laid out set goals to top in the board exams. | *Anemia Awareness Program was on conducted on 09/09/2023. A session on “Anaemia” has organised by the school to the girl students of classes VIII-XII on Sept 9th,2023. Dr. Jasmine Sultana, Specialisation in Immuno hematology and blood transfusion, member of Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and immune haematology has addressed the female gathering. She gave a brief introduction on the causes, symptoms, types and preventive measures of Anaemia. This was followed by an interaction session highlighting the difference between a girl and a woman. She also focused on the women rights, equity, equality and about the history of Womens’ Day. The students had an informal discussion with her and clarified their doubts. |

| *AI – Robotic Lab Inauguration To maintain pace with the fast moving technological world, a sophisticated AI Robotic Lab was inaugurated in the school on 23rd June, 2023. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Sri. Harsha Vardhan, CEO, BOTCLUB, Vijayawada. Speaking on the occasion, he shared that the present generation should be updated and equipped with all the advancement happening in the present scenario. The students should get the chance of ‘hands-on-experience’. School Convenor Smt. Veerapaneni Sasikala, in the inaugural session shared that today AI is taking a lead role in the field of medicine, logistics, policing signaling etc. Every minute area is under surveillance and things are discharged most effectively. School Principal Sri. Manoj Karmakar, shared that the students of all the classes should make proper and effective use of the robotic kits available and be a part of producing mini robots. | *International Yoga Day-21/06/2023 International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school campus in the early hours of 21st June, 2023. The day was organized by both the Physical Department and NCC Wing of the school. Around 200 students actively participated in the programme. They performed a number of yoga postures under the instructions of the NCC Officer, Mr.L.Hari Babu. The whole school playground became vibrant with the yogic exercises. School Principal Sri. Manoj Karmakar in his address brought out the significance of doing yoga on a regular basis.  |
| *Enrichment Programme – 2023 On 9th June, 2023, the resource persons were Dr. S.R.Parimi, Founder, Vikas Vidya Vanam School, Poranki. His topic was “Challenges in Modern Education”. And Dr. Tarun Kakani, CEO, A.P.Boating Club, Vijayawada for the morning session. Mr. Tarun dealt on ‘Internet of Things-IOT’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’. In the after-noon session, Mrs. Th. Neelima, HOD, English, Atkinson Sr.Sec.School, Vijayawada took an interesting topic “Teaching Grammar through Games”. On 10th June, 2023, the session was taken up by Dr.Kalyani, Professor, V.R.Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada. She focused in detail the theoretical part of AI and its application in daily life. In the afternoon session, Mr. Murthy, Founder, INVICTA enlightened the staff on the ‘Strategies of Effective Communication’. On day three, 12th June, 2023, the distinguished resource persons were Dr.Mythili, Dr. Shikha Takkar and Dr.Mizaj, Associate/Assistant Professors of Mahindra University, Hyderabad. And the topics dealt at length throughout the day were ‘Leading Transformation in Schools and Educational Innovations, Pedagogies and Learning Outcomes, Life Skills – Listening and Empathy’. The day concluded by presentations from the teachers. On the concluding day, 13th June, 2023, the resource person was Mrs.Toral Shah, Principal of Domnics Group of Educational Institutions, Hyderabad. She is a New Age Educator , Founder at Drishya , Home schooler , Children’s Author and a Storyteller too. She dealt on the topic ‘Teachers as counsellors’, and ‘Ethics & Integrity’. |
| * CBSE : CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME ON VALUES EDUCATION Value Education is a vital aspect of student’s overall development and teachers play a significant role in instilling moral and ethical values.A workshop on ‘Values Education’ was conducted in KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School under the supervision of the Venue Director Sri Manoj Karmakar, the Principal of the School on 03.06.2023 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM under the guidance of Centre of Excellence, Chennai & Vijayawada Regions, CBSE, Chennai. 61 Teachers from 4 different CBSE schools in Vijayawada and Guntur Cities participated in the training programme. |
| * AKARSH CHITTNENI AT NASA HERC – ROVER CHALLENGE COMPETITION – 2023 NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC), took place in the month of April 2023 in the U.S. Space & Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama. The competition featured 61 Teams from 30 Countries around the world and included 45 Colleges and Universities and 16 High Schools.Out of the 6 Members in the team One Member, Akarsh Chittneni, a student of Class – X, from KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School, Kanuru, Vijayawada was the Technical Lead of the NASA HERC Rover Challenge – 2023 team. |
